Thesis

The deep tech paradox.

India is the world's fourth largest economy, growing at roughly 8%, and the third largest startup hub after the United States and China. Of roughly 150,000 startups and 120 unicorns, only about 3,500 — some 2.5% — are deep tech.

That gap is the opportunity. Capital, patience and operating judgment are scarce exactly where the hardest engineering is being done. Incube8 exists to close it.

A structural tailwind

Indigenisation policies have created a real path from prototype to programme of record for private companies and startups.

Dual-use by design

Every thesis must stand on commercial merit and strategic relevance. That widens the addressable market and lowers single-customer risk.

A strategic imperative

In a deglobalising world, India is a critical bulkhead of security — and a credible technology partner to friendly nations.

Approach

How we invest.

Stage
Late seed to early Series A, into companies with demonstrated product-market fit.
Conviction
Concentrated positions with reserves for follow-on, not spray-and-pray.
Co-investment
Alongside a small group of aligned venture partners on every deal.
Beyond capital
Access to procurement pathways, technical validation, and introductions that shorten years off a deep tech timeline.
Exits
Acquisition by Indian and global primes consolidating capability, with international expansion through UAE, Middle East, South Asia and Africa as launchpads.
